Kim Jones

Kim Jones is a journalist who has spent the past decade+ covering Christian and Gospel music. She is also an ordained Pastor and a founding member of Road to Revelation Ministries (a ministry and Christian rock band) in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia.

Experience

Active in the local music scene, Kim has worked with music and youth ministries in her regional area, as well as with several Christian Motorcycle Ministries for nearly two decades.

In addition to her work for About.com, Kim Jones writes about religion and faith on Road to Revelation and is a copy editor for the MusicTimes family of entertainment sites. In 2014, she acted as the Historian for the Gospel Music Association to help them share their 50th anniversary at the 45th Annual Dove Awards.

In the past, she has been a contributing writer on two books about losing a loved one to homicide, is the author of a children's book and has worked as the Christian Music Editor for Holy Spirit Interactive, a Christian resource website under the authority of the Vicariate Apostolic of Arabia, as the Christian Music Expert on PopCircle and as the Managing Editor for Hallels.com.
