Kristin Kendle Kristin Kendle Writer Education B.A., Pacific Lutheran University, English/Writing Introduction Kristin Kendle lives in the Seattle area and has covered Seattle and Tacoma since 2010.She has a Bachelor of English/Writing and a minor in publishing from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington.She won a first place award from the Society of Professional Journalists in the Arts and Entertainment Reporting category for a piece she wrote about Tacoma's ghost signs for South Sound Magazine. Experience After living in a few places around the world and around the country, Kristin moved to the Seattle-Tacoma area in 1997 and has never looked back. She loves the eclectic diversity of the Pacific Northwest and its wide array of things to do and see, from quiet nature trails to catching touring shows in Seattle.She decided to pursue writing professionally and started the adventure by choosing a writing focus during her time at Pacific Lutheran University. After graduating, she worked for a local book publisher as a copy editor before branching into writing about all the things she loves to do in the Northwest.Kristin has also written for South Sound Magazine, SouthSoundTalk, and other local publications.
