Lake Forest College sits on the shores of Lake Michigan in Illinois, and students frequently take advantage of opportunities in nearby Chicago. Students come from 47 states and over 70 countries. With a 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 19, Lake Forest College is able to give its students a lot of personal attention. Students can choose from 26 bachelor's degree programs, and the school's strengths in the liberal arts and sciences earned it a chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. In athletics, Lake Forest competes in the NCAA Division III Midwest Conference.
