Dating can be a challenge for anyone, but especially so for Mormons, for whom shared values are an essential component of any lasting relationship. Fortunately, there are numerous online dating sites designed to connect LDS singles around the world.

LDS Planet

LDS Planet connects Mormons looking for friends, pen pals, and partners. Registration is free, but you have to pay in order to use the services that actually connect you with other people. The parent company owns many dating sites in addition to this one for LDS users.

DatingScout says the site boasts many active members and an easy-to-navigate interface. However, the site does not yet offer a mobile version.

Mutual

Mutual is a dating app like Tinder but designed exclusively for Mormons. Founder Cooper Boice claims that more than 100,000 Mormons in over 100 countries have used the app, resulting in dozens of marriages. One user, Jillian Sewell, met her husband on the app. She says she wouldn't have met him without Mutual because lived in a different city.

LDS Singles

LDS Singles is designed for Mormons looking for long-term relationships. The site (formerly known as LDS Mingle) offers free registration, though users must pay before they can connect with others. The parent company, Spark Networks, also owns the dating site Christian Mingle.

The site, while somewhat outdated, offers helpful personality reports and comprehensive search options.

MomoMatch

MoMoMatch, launched in 2015, allows users to sign up through Facebook or Twitter. The site collects information on LDS singles events around the country, including singles' conferences and appears to be entirely free.

LDS Dimension

LDS Dimension is an online dating community for Mormons founded by LDS members. The site includes a forum where users can chat and plan meet-ups. The site prides itself on its detailed search tools, and membership is free, with additional features available to premium members.

LDS Pals

Unlike many of its competitors, LDS Pals is completely free. Members can upload photos and send unlimited messages to other users, as well as save searches and profiles. While the site is free, it is offered as is. There is no support of any kind, and the service does not appear to be offered by those familiar with LDS life.

LDS Pals has low membership and is missing a number of useful features. However, if you are new to online dating and don’t want to spend money on it, then it is the site for you.

LDS LinkUp

LDS LinkUp is less of a dating site than a social community site where Mormons of all stripes can meet and build friendships. Basic membership is free, though some features are reserved for premium members. You must sign up to learn more about the site's full services and its costs. The parent company also owns other faith-based sites.

LDS Passions

LDS Passions, founded in 2004, is entirely free. However, it is less an independent site than a section of a mammoth dating and social media site, and as a result, is poorly organized.

LDS MatchUp

LDS MatchUp, started in 2014, is owned and maintained by LDS members. The site is reserved for Mormons and is entirely free. Users can sign in through Facebook and control who can view their profile and contact them.

eHarmony: Mormon Dating

eHarmony, which opened in 2000, is one of the oldest dating sites on the web. Its Mormon section is exclusive to LDS members. Basic features are available through the site's free membership, with additional features included for an added fee. As an established dating site, eHarmony includes a broad pool of members, though exact LDS numbers are not known.
