About the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show

Ever since the organizers moved the show to November a few years ago, the L.A. Auto Show has been regarded as the official beginning of the auto show season. This year, the LA show is once again home to several significant vehicle premiers.

When to Go

The Los Angeles Auto Show is open to the public Friday, November 20th through Sunday, November 29th, 2014.

Hours:

  • Friday, Nov 20th: 9am - 10pm
  • Saturday, Nov 21st: 9am - 10pm
  • Sunday, Nov 22nd: 9am - 9pm
  • Monday, Nov 23rd - Tuesday, Nov 24th: 10am - 9pm
  • Wednesday, Nov 25th - 10am - 10pm
  • Thursday, Nov 26th (Thanksgiving): 9am - 6pm
  • Friday, Nov 27th - Saturday, Nov 28th: 9am - 10pm
  • Sunday, Nov 29th: 9am - 7pm

Note: Entrance closes one hour prior to show closing.

Tip: The show tends to be packed wall-to-wall on the weekends. Go during the week if at all possible.

Admission:

  • Adults: $12 at the door Monday - Thursday, $15 Friday - Sunday
  • Children ages 6-12, $5; 5 and under free with a paid adult.
  • Seniors (65+): $10
  • Aficionado pass (unlimited admission to all show days plus 15% discount on show merchandise) $85

Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.

Tours:

Guided tours are offered at 8:00 am on Saturday, November 21st, Admission is $65 for adults (age 13+) and $25 for children 6-12 (children under 5 are free) and include admission to the show on Saturday.

Available discounts:

  • First Responders' Tuesday: Police, fire and ambulance workers and their guests get $3 off on Tuesday, November 24th. ID required, tickets must be purchased at the box office.
  • Military Sunday: Military members and their gusts get $3 off on Sunday, November 29th. ID required, tickets must be purchased at the box office.
  • Toyota Friday: Toyota owners get buy-one-get-one-free admission between on Friday, November 27th. Owners can get a voucher at kiosks near the box offices between 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm on Friday.
  • Coupons for $4 off admission are available at many Los Angeles-area car dealers.

Charity preview

A charity preview night to benefit the GRAMMY Museum will take place on Thursday, November 19th, from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Tickets range from $75 to $275. More information can be found on the Tickets page.

How to Get There

The LA Auto Show is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 S. Figueroa Street in Los Angeles.

Directions to the Los Angeles Convention Center

Parking is available at the convention center for $15 Monday-Thursday and $20 Friday-Saturday. (If you are paying by credit/debit card, note that some parking entrances are cash only -- look for signs.) There are several independent lots in the area, some less expensive, some more.

Tip: A cheaper alternative is to take public transportation. Take the Red, Purple or Silver line to 7th St./Metro Center and either take the Blue line one stop to Pico or walk 3/4 mile to the Convention Center.
