Located in the small city of Ruston in north-central Louisiana, the main campus of Louisiana Tech University draws students from 48 states and 68 countries. A centerpiece of the 280-acre campus is "The Lady of the Mist" fountain. Louisiana Tech has a 21 to 1 student / faculty ratio, and business, arts and humanities fields are popular as well as more technological majors. The university wins high marks for its educational value, especially for out-of-state students.
