Founded in 1812, it is one of the 50 oldest colleges in the country. The 42-acre suburban campus in north central Pennsylvania is within a few hours of several major cities including New York, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia; Williamsport is also known as the home of Little League Baseball and a number of other cultural sites.
