MICA, the Maryland Institute College of Art, is one of the top-ranked studio art colleges in the country. Founded in 1826, MICA is oldest continuously operating degree-granting college of art in the United States.

The school has much to brag about -- it has the most Presidential Scholars in the visual arts of any college, and it produces more Fulbright Scholars than any other college with a specialized mission. Many of MICA's programs are ranked among the best in the nation, and classes are supported by a healthy 10 to 1 student / faculty ratio.
