This small liberal arts college's 320-acre campus is located in Maryville, Tennessee, a town less than half an hour south of Knoxville. Since its founding, the school has had ties to the Presbyterian Church. Students come from 17 states and 15 countries. The college has an entirely undergraduate focus, and students can choose from over 60 fields of study. Fields in biology, business and psychology are particularly popular, and the curriculum is supported by a healthy 12 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 17.
