Megan Atwood is a former writer for ThoughtCo. Atwood is an accomplished writer of young adult novels and works of fiction, many published by Simon & Schuster and Soho Teen. She has nearly 18 years of experience as a writer, editor, and in academia. Currently, an adjunct professor at Hamline University, she also teaches how to write young adult fiction in the private sector.  Her young adult novel series include The Paranormalists, Dario Quincey Academy of Dance, and Dear Molly, Dear Olivia. She holds an MFA in creative writing for children and young adults. 



Megan Atwood has a bachelor of arts in English and Anthropology from the University of Iowa, and MFA in creative writing for children and young adults from Hamline University.
