Metropolitan College of New York Description: The Metropolitan College of New York is a private college with an emphasis on experiential learning. The campus is situated at the crossroads of the Tribeca and Soho neighborhoods in Manhattan, placing it within walking distance of some of New York City’s most exciting culture and night life. MCNY has developed an accelerated curriculum for all of its academic programs that allows students to graduate in a shorter time than most other schools, even while working full-time. Academics are divided between two schools, the Audrey Cohen School for Human Services and Education and the School of Management. Between the two schools, the college offers associate’s degrees in business and human services, bachelor’s degrees in American urban studies, human services, business administration and healthcare systems management, and seven master’s degree programs in education, business management and public affairs. MCNY has an active campus life as well, with a variety of student clubs and organizations.
