Mike Bame has worked for a variety of Defense Department contractors in a wide variety of positions including financial, business development, legal and project management.
Mike currently works for a successful small business Defense Department contractor with prime and subcontractor contracts. He has over 25 years experience in defense contracting and business development working with several companies providing products and services to the Federal government. Mike has written winning proposals for DoD solicitations and multiple award contracts including GSA Schedule 70, Navy Seaport-e, GSA Alliant, company sole source IDIQ, NETCENTS and Warfighter FOCUS. He has created, submitted, negotiated and been awarded (and then managed and obtained work under) numerous DoD projects.
Bame has a degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. He holds various certifications from Cisco, HP/3Com and Microsoft. Bame is currently working on the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
