Michael Bame is a former writer for ThoughtCo who spent four years writing about Department of Defense (DoD) contracting and project management for Federal agencies. Bame is the vice president of Harmonia Holdings Group LLC, a defense contractor providing innovative technological solutions to federal agencies. He has oversight of the company's contracting, administrative, and financial functioning. As a defense contractor, Bame is fundamental in creating winning proposals for DoD solicitations and in the awarding of multiple contracts. His experience includes time with Anderson and Associates, F-One Consulting, and Virginia Tech Applied Research Corporation.


Bame has a bachelor's degree in Accounting from Virginia Tech. He holds various certifications from Cisco, HP/3Com, and Microsoft, and has a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
