Michael San Filippo

Experience

Michael P. San Filippo studied in Italy as a graduate student for over three years, first at the total-immersion language school Eurocentres Firenze. He has written three Italian language and culture books, including "Learn Italian in a Hurry" and "The Everything Learning Italian Book," and co-written "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Italian History and Culture." He wrote nearly 350 articles on Italian language and culture over the course of 16.5 years for ThoughtCo. San Filippo currently conducts private tutoring in Italian for students of all levels and abilities.

Education

Michael P. San Filippo earned a Master of Arts degree in Italian studies with a concentration in museology at the Middlebury College Italian School Abroad program in Florence, Italy.
