Mid-America Christian University Description: Located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, MACU is a school of about 2,500 students. Founded in 1953 as the South Texas Bible Institute, MACU changed locations and names a few times, before settling on the current name and location in 1985. It became a full university in 2003. Academics at MACU are supported by a healthy 11 to 1 student / faculty ratio, allowing students a personalized and guided college experience. Students can major in a range of topics, with some of the most popular being in Business, Counseling, and Religious/Theology fields.
