Mike Durrett is a former writer for ThoughtCo and contributed stories for 11 years. In addition to writing about comedy on the web for over a decade, Durrett has served many roles through the years: class clown, columnist, radio mouth and programmer, actor, film projectionist, and gag writer (for Joan Rivers, plus deejays throughout North America, including Howard Stern and Gary Owens).
