Nevada Birth Records:

Dates: From July 1911

Cost of copy: $20.00

Comments:  Birth records are confidential in the state of Nevada and may only be released to a qualified applicant. A qualified applicant is defined as the registrant, or a direct family member by blood or marriage, his or her guardian, or his or her legal representative. With your request include as much as you can of the following: full name at birth, date and place of birth, father's name, mother's maiden name, your relationship to the individual and legal need for a copy of the record, your name and address, a copy of your photo ID, and your signature.

Nevada Death Records:

Dates: From July 1911

Cost of copy: $20.00

Comments: Death records are confidential in the state of Nevada and may only be released to a qualified applicant. A qualified applicant is defined as the registrant, or a direct family member by blood or marriage, his or her guardian, or his or her legal representative.

With your request include as much as you can of the following: full name of decedent, date and place of death, social security number (if known), decedent's father's name, decedent's mother's maiden name, your relationship to the individual and legal need for a copy of the record, your name and address, a copy of your photo ID, and your signature.

Nevada Marriage Records:

Dates: Indexes since January 1968. 

Cost of Copy: $10.00

Comments: The state office only has indexes since January 1968. Certified copies are not available from the Nevada State Health Department. For certified copies of marriage certificates, you must write to the County Recorder in the county where the license was purchased.

 

Nevada Divorce Records:

Dates: Indexes since January 1968.

Cost of copy: $10.00 (index search only); cost of record from county varies

Comments: Indexes since January 1968. Certified copies are not available from State Health Department. For divorce records, you must write to the County Clerk in the county where the divorce was granted.
