Northeastern Illinois University Description:

NEIU's 67-acre campus is located in a residential area on the Northwest Side of Chicago, Illinois. Students come from over 100 countries. Northeastern Illinois University offers over 80 academic programs with professional fields in business, communications, and education being extremely popular among undergraduates. Academics are supported by a 16 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The university frequently receives accolades for both its value and for the opportunities it provides to students from diverse ethnic backgrounds. Student life at the university is active and students can choose from over 70 official student clubs and organizations including eight sororities and five fraternities.
