Ohio Valley University Description:

Located in Vienna, West Virginia, Ohio Valley University is a four-year, private college affiliated with the Churches of Christ. OVU takes pride in the personal attention its students receive. The 266-acre campus supports roughly 450 students with a student/faculty ratio of 10 to 1 and an average class size of 20. OVU offers a range of academic majors and minors across the university's four colleges: Education, Business, Arts and Sciences, and Biblical Studies and Behavioral Sciences. Students stay active outside of the classroom, and Ohio Valley University is home to plenty of student clubs and organizations, including social and special interest groups. On the intercollegiate athletic front, the university competes in the NCAA Division II West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) with sports including men’s and women’s soccer, cross country, and golf. OVU takes its Christ-centered identity seriously and expects all students to attend Chapel and Assembly regularly.
