The university is home to the nation's first undergraduate program in renewable energy engineering, and today the school is working to become the first geothermally powered university in the country. Located near Klamath Lake in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, OIT's beautiful location goes hand-in-hand with the school's emphasis on sustainability.
