Now this is a great cosplay idea for kids; Ewoks from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi! The characters' size makes them ideal for children and the costumes are relatively simple and also have the added benefit of keeping them warm during cooler seasons. Other Star Wars characters that are great for junior cosplayers are Younglings (young Jedi as seen in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones), Jawas and even R2D2.

Trivia: This boy's friends also came in Star Wars cosplay as another Ewok, Padme and a handmaiden!

One of the craziest characters on the modern reboot of My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic, Discord is a character that no one thinks to cosplay as, probably due to his unusual character design and body proportions. This cosplayer did a great job of simplifying the look yet still remaining recognisable as the draconequus fans know and love.
