The campus sits on the northwestern edge of Reading, Pennsylvania. Harrisburg and Philadelphia are each a little over an hour away. The Penn State curriculum allows students to begin their four-year degrees on one campus and finish on another. Penn State Berks offers 19 baccalaureate degrees with business being most popular. Academics are supported by a 17 to 1 student / faculty ratio and an average class size of 24. The majority of students are from Pennsylvania, and roughly one-quarter of students live on campus.
