Allen Grove Ithaca College is a moderately selective school whose campus has easy access to the gorges, wineries, and lakes of Central New York. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Student life at Ithaca College is enriched by the school's enviable location on the hillside overlooking the south end of Lake Cayuga. Here you can see practice fields in the foreground and the lake in the distance. Downtown Ithaca is just a short way down the hill, and Ithaca College also has a great view of Cornell University. Beautiful gorges, movie theaters and excellent restaurants are all nearby. 03 of 20 Ithaca College Center for Health Sciences Ithaca College Center for the Health Sciences. Photo Credit: Allen Grove This relatively new building (built in 1999) is home to the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences, as well as the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies. The clinic for occupational and physical therapy can also be found in the center. 04 of 20 Muller Chapel at Ithaca College Muller Chapel at Ithaca College. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Muller Chapel occupies the most picturesque spot on the Ithaca College campus. The chapel sits on the bank of the campus pond, and attractive green spaces, benches and walking trails surround the building. 05 of 20 Ithaca College Egbert Hall Ithaca College Egbert Hall. Photo Credit: Allen Grove This multi-purpose building is part of the Ithaca College Campus Center. It houses a dining hall, a cafe, and the administrative center for the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life. The Center for Student Leadership and Involvement (CSLI), the Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA), and the Office of New Student Programs (NSP) can all be found in Egbert. 06 of 20 East Tower Residence Hall at Ithaca College East Tower at Ithaca College. Photo Credit: Allen Grove The two 14-story towers at Ithaca College -- East Tower and West Tower -- are the most easily recognizable feature of the campus. They are visible rising above the trees from nearly anywhere in the city of Ithaca or the Cornell campus. The towers are coed by floor and each building features single and double rooms, study lounges, a television lounge, laundry and other amenities. The towers also have close proximity to the library and other academic buildings. 07 of 20 Lyon Hall Residence Hall at Ithaca College Lyon Hall at Ithaca College. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Lyon Hall is one of the 11 residence halls that make up the Quads at Ithaca College. The Quads feature single and double rooms as well as a few other types of apartments. Each building has a television and study lounge, laundry facilities, vending and a kitchen. Most of the buildings in the Quads are conveniently located near the Academic Quad. 08 of 20 Garden Apartments at Ithaca College Garden Apartments at Ithaca College. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Five buildings on the east side of the Ithaca College campus make up the Garden Apartments. These residence halls are slightly more removed from the center of campus than the Quads or Towers but are still an easy walk to class. The Garden Apartments feature 2, 4 and 6 person living spaces. They are ideal for students who want a more independent living arrangement -- each apartment has its own kitchen, and students in the apartments do not need to have a meal plan. The apartments also feature balconies or patios, some of which have amazing views of the valley. 09 of 20 Terrace Residence Halls at Ithaca College Terrace Residence Halls at Ithaca College. Photo Credit: Allen Grove The Terraces are made up of 12 residence halls at Ithaca College. They are located on the south edge of campus near some of the academic buildings. The Terraces feature single, double and triple rooms as well as a few suites for 5 or 6 students. Each building has a television lounge, study lounge, kitchen and laundry facilities. 10 of 20 Freeman Baseball Field at Ithaca College Ithaca College Baseball - Freeman Field. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Freeman Field is the home of the Ithaca College Bombers baseball team. Ithaca competes in the Division III Empire 8 Athletic Conference. The field is named after Coach James A. Freeman who retired in 1965. 11 of 20 Ithaca College Tennis Courts Ithaca College Tennis Courts. Ithaca College competes in the Division III Empire Eight Athletic Conference. 12 of 20 Emerson Residence Hall at Ithaca College Ithaca College Emerson Hall. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Emerson Hall is a residence hall located on the northeast edge of the campus. The building features double and a few triple rooms. Rather than shared hallway bathrooms, each room in Emerson has its own bathroom with shower. The building is also air conditioned. 13 of 20 Pond at Ithaca College Pond at Ithaca College. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Located on the north side of campus adjacent to the Muller Chapel, the pond at Ithaca College offers a picturesque spot for students to read, relax and escape the bustle of campus. Students who study radio, television, photography, film and journalism will all spend a lot of time in this facility. The building is home to ICTV, Ithaca College Television, the oldest student-run television production organization in the country, as well as WICB radio and the weekly student newspaper, the Ithacan. 15 of 20 Ithaca College Library - The Gannett Center Ithaca College Library - The Gannett Center. The building features a language center and a state-of-the-art e-classroom for art education. 16 of 20 Ithaca College Whalen Center for Music Ithaca College Whalen Center for Music. The building features 90 practice rooms, almost 170 pianos, 3 performance centers, and numerous faculty studios. 17 of 20 Ithaca College Peggy Ryan Williams Center Ithaca College Peggy Ruan Williams Center. Photo Credit: Allen Grove This new building first opened its doors in 2009 and is now the home of Ithaca College's senior administration, human resources, enrollment planning and admissions. The Division of Graduate and Professional Studies is also headquartered in the Peggy Ryan Williams Center. 18 of 20 Ithaca College Muller Faculty Center Ithaca College Muller Faculty Center. In this picture you can see the Tower residence halls in the background. 19 of 20 Ithaca College Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise Ithaca College Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise. Photo Credit: Allen Grove The Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise is a new facility on Ithaca College's campus built with environmental stewardship in mind. The building received the highest certification awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council. Students interested in business will find state-of-the-art classrooms where real-time data from Wall Street and 125 other exchanges stream across the wall. 20 of 20 Ithaca College Center for the Natural Sciences Ithaca College Center for the Natural Sciences. Photo Credit: Allen Grove Ithaca College's Center for the Natural Sciences is an impressive 125,000 square foot facility that houses the Biology, Chemistry and Physics Departments. Along with extensive laboratory and classroom space, the building also features a greenhouse with local and tropical plant species.
