"Power and Grace" is an original Christian poem submitted by Gloria Williams. It contemplates the contrasting qualities--the might and beauty--of God's majesty.

Power and Grace

The power and grace
Of Your majesty
Are beyond compare.
When words do but fail me,
You search my heart
And take what's there ...
To speak for me in the trials and tribulations,
In my grief, my pain, in all my despair,
Your wings of love do but shield me.

You wrap me in your arms,
You move me to a calmer place,
And I can feel Your warm embrace.
Then, when the storm is over,
Your righteousness revealed,
You gently whisper in my ear,
You my child are sealed.
