The College of Nursing is located in Houston. Founded in 1876, Prairie View is the second oldest public university in Texas and part of the Texas A&M University System. The university offers 50 bachelor's degree programs and about 40 graduate degree programs. At the undergraduate level, professional fields in business, architecture, criminal justice and architecture are all popular. Nursing is the most popular undergraduate major.
