Prop Manager

Definition:

The person who collects, purchases, and/or creates the props for a production.

In community theater, prop management is often the responsibility of the stage manager, director and other crew members.

Since the props add to the set decor, prop management can have a strong impact on the look of the show. Good prop managers should have an eye for bargains and excellent organization skills. Historical knowledge of the play's era and deign/carpentry skills are a definite plus as well.
