Since first attending the Clements Stampede near my home in California, rodeo has held a special fascination for me. Growing up amongst the beauty of rapidly disappearing rural California taught me the respect for the land and the love of animals that rodeo so uniquely represents. I want to share those great experiences and my perspective as a competitor in and fan of rodeo. The goal of About Rodeo is to provide the rodeo fan, both old and new, with the resources you need to enjoy this unique and historic sport. Rodeo is no longer confined to the rural lifestyle with many new fans entering the sport from both the city and suburb. One of rodeo's strengths is community and we welcome all!
