Discussion of Regis University's Admissions Standards:

The admissions bar for Regis University is not overly high, but successful applicants do tend to have solid grades and standardized test scores. Realize that Regis University is made up of three colleges, each with its own admissions policies: Regis College, the traditional residential college; the College for Professional Studies for adult learners; and the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions, a specialized school for students in health-related fields. In the graph above, the green and blue dots represent admitted students. Most had SAT scores (RW+M) of 950 or higher, ACT composite scores of 18 or higher, and a high school GPA of "B-" or better. A significant number of successful applicants were "A" students.

Grades and test scores, however, are just part of the admissions equation. Regis University has holistic admissions and makes decisions based on more than numbers. Whether you use the Regis application or the Common Application, the admissions folks will be looking for a strong application essay, meaningful extracurricular activities, and positive letters of recommendation. Also, Regis University, like most colleges, takes into consideration the rigor of your high school courses, not just your grades. Successful completion of AP and IB classes will strengthen your application and potentially earn you college credit.
