Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck is a beautiful divination tool. Cards from this spiritual and intuitive deck display original artwork based on the sacred language of geometry. Sacred geometry is a fascinating subject and this deck of 64 colorful cards will draw you into a world of spirals, circles, labyrinths, stars, and more spiritual shapes and pathways. This is a brief tutorial to give you a peek at the cards and how to use them for self-discovery.

Artwork by Francene Hart, a visionary artist who has worked with sacred space for more than twenty-five years. Author of An Artist's Journey into Sacred Geometry, among other books. She also conducts workshops on mandalas, creativity, and sacred geometry.

Review deck of Sacred Geometry Tarot was supplied by Cyntha Fowles, publicist for Inner Traditions International, Bear & Company.

The Ka - Rainbow Colored Torus

The design that was chosen for the back of the cards in this oracle deck is called "The Ka." The Ka is surrounded by floating water lilies. This same Ka image is also within the deck, it is numbered 56 among the 64 cards. The Ka is described as a rainbow-colored torus and is representative of the Life Force. The Ka comes from the spiritual term merkaba. The Ka is used as meditation device for seeking inner guidance. Beautiful! A nice choice to represent the whole deck.

Golden Spiral Spread

Golden Spiral Spread Layout

Six different card layouts are explained and diagrammed inside the companion book. Among these is the golden spiral spread shown here. The diagram shows eight cards, but you can use only three or five cards, or choose as many as thirteen cards for this card spread. You decide! This spread has a lot of flexibility as well, you can choose to lay the cards out from the center of the spiral outward, or place the cards down, outward first, then place the remaining cards inward. I love spirals and love the fluidity of this cosmic spread.

Suggested Card Spreads Are:

  • 2-Card Yin-Yang Balancing Spread
  • 3-Card Vesica Piscis Balancing Spread
  • Self-Actualization Spread
  • Sacred Circle Spread
  • Seed of Life Spread
  • Star Spread
  • Golden Spiral Spread

Sacred Circle Spread

The sacred circle card spread is a simple five card layout that will give you insight into your PEMS. Four cards are used to delve into the needs and desires of your PEMS (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual bodies). The fifth center card is representative of your inner guidance. In this sample reading, these five cards were drawn from the deck to give insight.

  1. Spiritual Body - 27 High Tide
  2. Physical Body - 13 Tetrahedron
  3. Emotional Body - 45 Steam Cave
  4. Mental Body - 8 Vesica Piscis
  5. Inner Guidance - 22 Dancing Through Eternity

High Tide: Dynamic Action - This card's imagery is filled with golden spirals drawn inside the ocean waves as the tide ebbs and flows. This "emotional" card in the spiritual body placement indicates movement and the need to pay attention to "feelings" or "intuitions."

Tetrahedron: Action - Another "action" card seems to reinforce a time for action is now or in the near future. The tetrahedron is a three-dimensional shape formed by four equal triangles. It forms a foundation and offers a lift-off station for a new project or direction.

Steam Cave: Elemental Forces - This third card "connects" beautifully with the two previous cards (High Tide and Tetrahedron). The illustration on this card is of a bather sitting inside a pool of medicinal water and surrounded by multiple star tetrahedrons. The card serves as a grounding earth energy. This appears to be is a preparatory card, meant to ready the querent for something new around the horizon.

Vesica Piscis: Birth Portal - The "vesica piscis" is a merging of two like minds or two common thoughts. This card is expressing birth or co-creation and foretells of a bond, relationship, or business contract.

Dancing Through Eternity: Relationship - Potential and Growth are the key insights drawn from this card in its inner guidance placement for this sacred circle reading. Very cool!

This completes my tutorial of the Sacred Geometry Oracle Deck. There are hundreds of card decks available on the market. With so many options it can be difficult to choose from among them. I like to be able to give my readers glimpses before deciding on the decks that are right for them. This deck has a lot to offer and is truly one of the most beautiful divination decks I have ever handled. Plus, I really like the slipcase that houses this lovely book and card deck.
