Founded in 1963, Sacred Heart is a relatively young Catholic university. The 69-acre campus is located in Fairfield, Connecticut, 90 minutes from Manhattan. The university has a 13 to 1 student/faculty ratio and an average class size of about 22. Sacred Heart has 45 degree programs. Among undergraduates, business and psychology are the most popular.
