Simpson College Description:

Simpson College is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The 75-acre campus sits in the center of Indianola, Iowa, a small city of about 15,000 people. Downtown Des Moines is just 12 miles to the north, and many Simpson College students take advantage of the city to gain hands-on experiences in their fields of study. Business has the highest enrollment of all undergraduate majors, and academics at Simpson are supported by a 14 to 1 student / faculty ratio. The college frequently ranks well among Midwest colleges for both the strength of its programs and its value. Students are highly involved in the college's clubs, organizations, fraternities and sororities. On the athletic front, the Simpson College "Storm" compete in the NCAA Division III Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC). The college fields nine men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports and has won numerous IIAC championships.
