Experience

Stacy Jago is a former writer for ThoughtCo, contributing articles on private schools for about two years. Stacy's career has focused on institutional advancement and includes five years of admission experience and over 10 years in marketing and communications. She has led a number of successful marketing initiatives, including developing marketing plans for schools, leading and building award-winning marketing and communications teams, and implementing award-winning marketing programs for fundraising and relationship-development.  

In addition to serving in administrative roles in both admission and communications, Stacy has held positions including high school student newspaper advisor, middle school yearbook advisor, teacher of middle school public speaking and digital photography, and high school student advisor. Having worked in both day and boarding schools with grades ranging from PK to 12/PG, Stacy has had the opportunity to serve as an advisor to both high school and middle school students as well as to student clubs. 

Education

Stacy received a master's degree in communication and information management at Bay Path College and a bachelor's in journalism and design at Mount Holyoke College, She has certificates in marketing strategies from Cornell University, and a Professional International Advancement Certification from Independent School Management.
