Stevens Institute of Technology Description

Founded in 1870, Stevens Institute of Technology has a long history of educating students in technological fields. The well-regarded school is located in Hoboken, New Jersey, and the 55-acre campus has an impressive view of the New York City skyline. Stevens students come from 47 states and 60 countries, and the institute has an enviable 7 to 1 student/faculty ratio at the undergraduate level. Students can choose from 30 undergraduate majors. In athletics, the Stevens Ducks compete in the NCAA Division III Empire 8 Athletic Conference.
