Swimmers Hair Shampoos, Conditioners, and Skin Care Products

Take a look at the best products for swimmers.

Swimmers hair and dry skin, two unfortunate side-effects of swimming. A swimmer's hair can get dry, brittle, and take on a greenish tint - swimmers hair! Swimmers can also suffer from dry skin from long exposure to the water or chemicals while swimming. These shampoos, conditioners, and skin care products could help swimmers combat the damage done by the pool.

Triswim Anti-chlorine Shampoo

Triswim makes several swimmer-focused products that all help to keep hair and skin safe from the damaging effect of fresh water, chlorine, or salt water. The family of Triswim products do what they are intended to do, and they do it very well. After a month of testing, the swimmers that have used the Triswim shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion say things like "I want more of this" and "my hair has not been this soft since I began swimming."

A Few Words of Advice

As with any other product or service I recommend, do your research. If you are a competitive swimmer, the parent of a swimmer, or you simply enjoy summers in the pool, you can benefit from all of these products. Make sure, however, that you don't grab the first item you come across. Look for hair-care and skin-care products that meet your needs and accommodate your hair or skin type. Go beyond this post. Do a little more research online, ask around, and order samples if possible. Don't be afraid to call and inquire about samples or sample packs. I think you will find that many companies, especially family-owned companies, are willing to accommodate your request. Updated by Dr. John Mullen on May 03, 2016
