New York City is one of the country's centers for great talk shows. If you're planning a trip, you might want to include a late night or daytime show in your itinerary.

Whether you're a fan of late night hosts like Stephen Colbert or Jimmy Fallon, or want to get in the audience for daytime hits like "The View," there are tickets available. The best news is that the tickets are free. However, it's never guaranteed that you'll get a ticket, much less a seat.

Don't let that stop you from trying, though. Once you get in, it's sure to be a great experience. At the least, you can stop by one of the plazas and step into a crowd outside a morning news show.
