Texas Christian University's 271-acre campus is located five miles from Fort Worth. In recent years the university has invested hundred of millions of dollars in new facilities and campus upgrades. The university is associated with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). On the academic front, TCU has a 13 to 1 student / faculty ratio, and the school highly values student-teacher interaction.

Undergraduates can choose from 119 areas of study. For its strengths in the liberal arts and sciences, TCU was awarded a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. In athletics, the Texas Christian Horned Frogs compete in the NCAA Division I Big 12 Conference.
