This turkey says we should eat roast beef!

On December 11, 1620, the first Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock.

The Pilgrims sailed across the Atlantic Ocean to reach North America. They sailed on a ship named the Mayflower. The Mayflower was never found. Some think the ship never returned to England but was used by the Pilgrims to build houses and barns. Others believe the ship returned to England and was turned into scrap soon after the Pilgrims' trip.

The Native Americans, the Wampanoag Indians, were the people who taught the Pilgrims how to cultivate the land.
