The Night When Evil Falls Anime Episode Review

The Night When Evil Falls is a supernatural erotica anime (Japanese cartoon) that provides a decent storyline to accompany its adult content. The OVA (original video animation) is broken up into three anime episodes spread across three separate DVDs. Each episode runs for around 30 minutes and its DVD also features a 30 minute special feature which adds a bit of extra value to each release.

As is often the case with adult anime (also called, Hentai by some fans), The Night When Evil Falls relies on tentacles (they are demons after all) as the primary source of pleasure and punishment, a strategy that has been done and done again in this particular genre. Even so, this little cliche' doesn't take away from the story and in fact, works with the overall premise, making The Night When Evil Falls worth the watch.

The DVDs are fairly expensive nowadays (especially when taking into consideration that each disk only has one 30 minute episode) but they do contain both the original Japanese and English dub audio as well as English, French, and German subtitles which is rather suprising but may be welcomed by some fans.

Who is The Night When Evil Falls' Target Audience?

The Night When Evil Falls is one hundred percent for mature age viewers. This short series is very much animated pornography and should only be viewed by those who can understand the destinction between fantasy and reality. Even the DVD cover artwork is inappropriate for all ages which is why we're not using it on this site so be warned if purchasing it in an online order along with other DVDs as another family member may open it and feel the urge to ask all sorts of uncomfortable questions.

Fans of other animated erotica such as Magic Woman M and the infamous Urotsukijoji may find something to like here but for the average viewer, and definitely those under age, many will want to stick with Sailor Moon and Fairy Tail until they're old enough.
