He regularly attends composite industry trade shows including, JEC, ACMA, SME, and SAMPE. In 2008 he presented at the Global Pultrusion Conference in Baltimore, MD.
Previously, Todd spent 6 years as the Business Development Manager for Ebert Composites Corporation. There, Todd was active in the development and commercialization of composite structures and fiber reinforced plastic processing for the small research and development firm.
I first became fascinated with composites during college, when I was hand shaping and fiber-glassing surfboards in my garage. Pouring polyester resin over the 4oz fiberglass cloth, I was instantly intrigued by composites.
Since then, my interest has evolved into the advanced realm of aerospace composites, carbon fiber, pultrusion, and continuous fiber thermoplastics. This site focuses on the evolution of composite materials and the infinite uses. My goal is to provide interesting articles relevant to both the engineer and the non-technical reader.
