Tom Head is a historian who specializes in the history of ethics, religion, and ideas. He is the author or co-author of twenty-nine nonfiction books, including Civil Liberties: A Beginner's Guide, World History 101, and Crime and Punishment in America. Dr. Head also writes video scripts on philosophy and pop culture for Wisecrack, a popular YouTube channel. He is a former board member of the Mississippi ACLU.
