The 57th annual Grammy Awards take place February 8, 2015 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast live by CBS. These are 10 of the must-see performances from the awards ceremony.

Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney

One of the biggest pop sensations of early 2015 is the single "FourFiveSeconds" by the trio of Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney. They are three of the world's biggest pop stars. The music world will collectively hold its breath when they take the stage together. Rihanna is a past winner of 7 Grammy Awards, Paul McCartney has won 18, and Kanye West has taken home 21. Both Rihanna and Kanye West are nominees this year.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry is following a triumphant Super Bowl halftime show with an appearance at the Grammy Awards. She will take the stage with domestic violence survivor Brooke Axtell of Austin, Texas who is performing a written word piece while Katy Perry sings the ballad "By the Grace of God" from her album . Brooke Axtell says, "It’s going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this." Katy Perry has two Grammy Award nominations this year.

Madonna

Madonna is a pop music icon, has won seven Grammy Awards out of 28 nominations, and she has new music to promote. She is expected to perform "Living For Love," the first single from her upcoming album Rebel Heart. It is a top 10 hit on the Billboard dance club chart. Madonna is also expected to perform at the Brit Awards February 25th.

One of the more emotional performances at the 57th Grammy Awards will undoubtedly be this trio. Beyonce is slated to sing the intro to John Legend's Oscar-nominated "Glory" from the film Selma. Reportedly she is singing "Take My Hand Precious Lord" originally popularized by legendary gospel singer Mahalia Jackson.

Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett

Two superstars from vastly different generations are brought together with pop and jazz standards. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are nominees for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album with Cheek To Cheek. The album was a #1 hit last fall. Lady Gaga is a five time Grammy Award winner, and Tony Bennett has taken home a phenomenal 17 honors in the past.

They have collaborated as mentors on The Voice, now Gwen Stefani and Adam Levine will take the stage to perform together on this year's Grammy Awards telecast. Neither is a stranger to the Grammy winner's circle. Gwen Stefani has taken home three awards, two for her work with No Doubt and one in an appearance with rapper Eve. Likewise, Adam Levine has won three Grammy Awards, all for his work with Maroon 5.

Sam Smith and Mary J. Blige

 22-year-old Sam Smith could be one of the biggest winners on Grammy night. He has six award nominations including across the big four categories, Album, Record and Song of the Year as well as Best New Artist. A remix of his hit "Stay With Me" with additional vocals from Mary J. Blige has been released, and they will perform the version live. Mary J. Blige has won nine Grammy Awards.

Hozier and Annie Lennox

Song of the year nominee for "Take Me To Church" Hozier will be performing live with veteran and Traditional Pop Vocal Album nominee Annie Lennox. Gospel and blues are expected to be the sources of their collaboration. Annie Lennox is a past winner of four Grammy Awards including one with Eurythmics and three as a solo artist.

Ed Sheeran and ELO

Jeff Lynne and Richard Tandy put ELO back together last fall for their first full live shows in 28 years. They will join Ed Sheeran on stage at the 57th Grammy Awards. Ed Sheeran has received three previous Grammy Award nominations as well as three new nominations this year including a nod for Album of the Year with X
