Trish Causey is a former writer for ThoughtCo, who wrote five theater-related articles for the site over the course of nearly three years. She is a singer and award-winning composer and has interviewed Tony Award winners and Broadway stars for industry websites and trade magazines. She has been featured in a number of performance-related publications and has received several grants and fellowships for her performance work. 


Bachelor of Professional Studies in music, television, and video games from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Causey earned a 4.0 GPA while at the school.

Awards and Publications

Trish Causey is the author of "Confessions of an Aroused Woman." She was the featured playwright at the International Women Playwrights Conference in Mumbai, India, as well as in Southern Breeze magazine, both in 2009. She has received grants for her performance work from the National Endowment for the Arts, among other non-profits.
