Trish Causey, a singer and award-winning composer, has interviewed Tony Award winners and Broadway stars for industry websites and trade magazines. She has been featured in a number of performance-related publications and has received several grants and fellowships for her performance work. Causey wrote five theater-related articles for ThoughtCo over the course of nearly three years.


Trish Causey holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies in music, television, and video games from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. She earned a 4.0 GPA while at the school.

Publications and Awards

Trish Causey is the author of "Confessions of an Aroused Woman." She was the featured playwright at the International Women Playwrights Conference in Mumbai, India, as well as in Southern Breeze magazine, both in 2009. She has received grants for her performance work including $4,000 from the Artist Fellowship in Music Composition and the National Endowment for the Arts. Causey also had the grand prize-winning production for an actor or singer at the  Chuncheon International Theatre Festival in South Korea in 1993.
