Data Courtesy of Cappex Discussion of University of Evansville's Admissions Standards: The University of Evansville has moderately selective admissions, and applicants tend to have grades and standardized test scores that are at least a little above average. In the graph above, the blue and green dots represent students who were accepted. Most had SAT scores of 1050 or higher, an ACT composite of 21 or higher, and a high school average of a "B" or better. Grades above this lower range will improve your chances, and you can see that a large percentage of admitted students had grades in the "A" range. Grades and standardized test scores, however, are just part of your application to the University of Evansville. The school has holistic admissions, and whether you use the UE application or the Common Application, the admissions folks will be looking for a strong application essay, meaningful extracurricular activities, and a positive counselor evaluation. Your school and church activities, volunteer experiences, and work experiences are all part of the admissions equation. Also, like most selective universities, UE takes into consideration the rigor of your high school courses, not just your grades.
