Founded in 1890, the University of Central Oklahoma is the oldest institution of higher learning in the state. UCO is located in Edmond, Oklahoma, the sixth largest city in the state. The university has a 21 to 1 student / faculty ratio, and students can choose from over 110 majors. Professional programs in business and nursing are popular among undergraduates.
