University of Great Falls Description: The University of Great Falls is a private, Roman Catholic university located in Great Falls, Montana. The 44-acre campus is situated in a park-like setting just a few miles from the Missouri River and the waterfalls for which the town and the school are named. The University of Great Falls has a student faculty ratio of 10 to 1, allowing faculty to provide individualized attention for students. Its academic offerings include 21 undergraduate majors with nearly 50 minors and concentrations and a graduate school offering master’s degrees in secondary teaching, counseling and organization management. Some of the more popular undergraduate programs include nursing, elementary education, psychology and paralegal studies. The small, close-knit community at the university encourages student participation in campus life, with more than 20 student clubs and communities and an active campus ministry sponsoring a variety of religious and service-based programs.
