The university has three campuses -- its two main hubs are about 20 minutes from each other in Portland and Gorham. In the Lewiston area, a smaller third campus specializes in interdisciplinary education for non-traditional students. The student body as a whole represents a diverse mix of backgrounds with an average student age of 28. About half of all students take classes part-time.
