The University of Tennessee at Martin is a public university and part of the University of Tennessee system. Martin is a small city in the northwest corner of the state. The 250-acre main campus is listed on the National Directory of Botanical Gardens. An adjoining 680-acre farm serves the research needs of the agricultural programs.
