Most had SAT scores of 1000 or higher (RW+M), an ACT composite of 20 or higher, and a high school average of a "B" or higher. You're chances will be better with grades and test scores above these lower ranges, and you can see that many admitted students had grades in the "A" range. In the middle of the graph you'll notice that the green and blue overlap with the red (rejected students). For students with similar grades and test scores, some got in and some did not. This is because Valparaiso has holistic admissions and makes decisions based on more than numerical data. Whether you use the Valparaiso University application or the Common Application, the admissions folks will be looking for a strong application essay and meaningful extracurricular activities.
