Welcome to Verse of the Day!

Today's Bible Verse:

Mark 11:25
"And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses." (ESV)

Today's Inspiring Thought: Forgive as You Pray

Jesus taught his disciples that forgiveness is a key factor in prayer. To put it bluntly, if we don't forgive, our prayers will be hindered.

Our hearts must remain humble and clean as we pray, realizing that if God was gracious enough to forgive our trespasses, we too must forgive those who hurt us.

Sometimes we don't forgive simply because we don't recognize we're holding onto bitterness in our hearts. Our pride can blind us. When you pray be mindful and deliberate to search your heart for any unforgiveness that may be hindering your prayers.
