Welcome to Verse of the Day!

Today's Bible Verse:

1 Corinthians 4:1–2

This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. (ESV)

Today's Inspiring Thought: Be Found Trustworthy

Paul and Apollos were given a calling from the Lord to explain the mysteries of God. That seems like a tall order to fill, but the verse makes it clear, being trustworthy was not an option for them.

Trustworthiness is a requirement of Christ's servants.

When God looks at your life, does he consider you a trustworthy steward? In other words, are you a faithful servant of Christ in whatever he has called you to do? If one day you want to hear the Master say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant!" it would be worthwhile to give this question serious consideration.
