Located in the small city of Morgantown, West Virginia, West Virginia University offers 185 degree programs and the school was awarded a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa for its strengths in the liberal arts and sciences. Some of the most popular majors include accounting, biology, English, and communication studies. WVU has a 23 to 1 student / faculty ratio, but highly motivated students who are looking for smaller and more challenging classes should check out the Honors College.
